Your Voice, Your Choice Conference

October 14, 2019 - October 15, 2019

$150

You may have heard through the grapevine that there is going to be participant driven conference in Wollongong on the 14th & 15th of October! We have some great names confirmed for the conference already, including the famous and hilarious Dylan Alcott.

The “Your Voice, Your Choice” Conference is happening on the 14th & 15th of October in Wollongong at the Novotel North Beach. The Conference is being organised by The Disability Trust with the help of our Self Advocacy group members. Our hope is to bring together and connect as many Participants with Disabilities, their advocates, parents, carers and organisations across Australia. It is about learning, connecting, feeling empowered and having fun. We also have come and try active sessions and a Gala Dinner.

The Self Advocacy group members are going to be playing a vital role in the organisation and general running of the Conference. The groups goal is a focus on gaining as many connections and partnerships with other individuals whom have a strong focus on improving the life of individuals with a disability. The conference is also a great way for organisations to ensure participant voices are central to your quality strategy and service design.

Please show your support to our group. We would like you, or anyone you know to register. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please spread the word and encourage as many participants to come along.
